Nira Bahat serves as the chair of the firm’s Investments and Private Equity practice.
In this capacity, Nira acts as counsel to some of Israel’s largest pension funds, provident funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors, as well as to leading family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and investment advisors, with respect to direct equity investments, co-investments, and investments in a wide array of pooled investment vehicles, covering all asset classes. In addition, Nira represents fund sponsors in connection with the creation of private equity funds.

Highly respected for her understanding of the investment landscape, and ability to navigate complicated terms and provisions, to recognize risks and to ensure that the firm’s clients are adequately protected in their investments and offerings, Nira is a trusted advisor, frequently sought out for her thoughtful and practical counsel. In addition, with respect to the regulation of investments by Israeli pension funds, provident funds and other institutional investors, Nira is considered one of Israel’s leading experts, with an unparalleled understanding of the particular fiduciary duties and regulatory requirements of institutional investors.

In addition to representation of investors and sponsors, Nira also advises as to a wide variety of general corporate matters.

Nira has been a member of the firm since 2009 and a partner since 2017.
